The foolish child is past teaching.
请问这里的 teaching 是属于主动表被动吗？总是要这样吗？

▲如果其中的动名词与句子主语之间为被动关系，则这个动名词属于用主动形式表示被动意义。又如：
The problem is past understanding. 这个问题无法理解。

▲如果其中的动名词与句子主语之间为主谓关系，则这个动名词属于用主动形式表示主动意义。又如：
The man is past working. 那男子已不能工作了。
