关于hear of sb doing sth的用法问题

问题描述
hear sb doing sth 是一个常用搭配，意思是“听见某人做某事”。如：
I heard him singing. 我听见他正在唱歌。
I can hear someone knocking. 我好像听见有人在敲门。
We heard them talking and laughing in the room. 我们听见他们在屋里说笑。
但若表示“听说某人做某事”呢？英语可以用 hear of sb doing sth 吗？还是要在hear 后接宾语从句？比如翻译“我听说他下个月要结婚了”，下面哪句对？还是两句都对？
I have heard of him getting married next month.
I have heard that he will get married next month.

hear 后接宾语从句的例句太普遍的，下面举两例 hear of sb doing sth 的例子：
