问题描述
He was training as a nurse.
He was trained as a nurse.
请问这两句的区别是什么？
难道是：主动语态表示自己训练？被动语态表示被他人训练？

Train可以是及物动词：to teach someone the skills of a particular job or activity培训别人某项技能。
也可以是不及物动词： to be taught these skills 受训某项技能。
因此以上两句话都是对的。但意思不同。
He was training as a nurse.
He was trained as a nurse.
第一句是过去进行时，表示在过去的那个时候，他正在受培训，护士课程还没有结束。
第二句是一般过去时被动语态。动态动词事件意义，没有用进行体就意味着事件已经发生并结束。主语已经受训结束，具有护士的资格了。
以后遇到类似的情况，查一下英英词典的解释就会很清楚的。
