请问老师，cope和cope with 都表示处理，应对，那什么时候用cope,什么时候用cope with 呢？谢谢。

cope 是不及物动词，不能直接跟宾语。表示“处理；应对”之意，需加 with：
cope with the problem，不说cope the problem。

cope 详细用法如下(cope为不及物动词，如果接宾语，需要加介词“with"后再接宾语。
(1)vi.(成功地)处理，应付，对付
(英文解释： If you cope with a problem or task, you deal with it successfully.）
It was amazing how my mother coped with bringing up three children on less than three pounds a week.
