▲Where the girl was killed was the park. 女孩是在公园被杀害的。
这个 where 引导的应该是主语从句吗？有这样的主语从句吗？这个 where 的意思好像是“在……的地方”，像是一个地点状语从句。
▲where 引导的主语从句我的印象是应该是这样的：
Where the girl was killed was not known. 女孩是在哪里被杀害的并不知道。
Where she is from is of great importance to us. 她来自什么地方对我们来非常重要。
Where I spend my summer is no business of yours. 我在哪里过暑假不关你的事。
这些 where 的意思是“哪里”“什么地方”。

书中例句： That is where he was born.
他认为，此时 where 为缩合型的连接副词或省略了中心词的关系副词， 即 where 从句等于一个名词加上一个定语从句， 叫做名词性定语从句。即：
That is where he was born. = That is the place where he was born.
Where she went was Manchester.= The place where she went was Manchester (与你的问题相似)
