此句中形容词 important 后接了for sb to do sth，能用于此类句型的形容词很多。如：
It’s wrong for you to say that. 你那样说是错误的。
It is possible for her to sell her house. 他有可能卖掉房子。
It’s necessary for us to buy a computer. 我们买台电脑是有必要的。
It’s normal for us not to want to work on Sunday. 我们星期日不想工作是正常的。
……
我发现这类句式的特点是它们的句首都用了形式主语 it，其后的不定式才是实际上的主语。
▲但是下面这两个句子就不同：
He was anxious for his brother to meet you. 他急于要他兄弟见你。
I’m anxious for the party to be a success. 我热切希望这次聚会取得成功。

1. L. G. Alexander著 Longman English Grammar《朗曼英语语法》(雷航等译 外语教学与研究出版社1991年1月第1版)P588:
“for+名词/代词”可用在很有限的几个形容词后面，如 anxious, determined, eager和 keen等，表示尚未发生的情况：She’s anxious for her daughter to win the competition.
2.【日】田中茂范等编《外研社英汉多功能词典》(杨文江等编译 外语教学与研究出版社 2008年7月第1版) P646: Tom was eager for you to come to the party.
3. 王希山编著的《英语形容词搭配结构词典》(上海译文出版社2004年4月第1版)P747：
