ask sb about sth 意思是“向某人打听或询问关于某事的情况”，注意其中的 about 表示“关于”。比较：
Did you ask her? 你问她没有？（直接问她）
Did you ask about her? 你问了关于她的情况没有？（间接了解她的情况）
Did you ask the price? 你问价格没有？（直接问价格是多少）
