回答Why…的提问时可以省略because吗

问题描述
A: Why did Mary want to learn to play the piano?
B: She liked to do something difficult.
上面对话中的答句是针对 Why…? 这一问句来回答的，但为什么没有用 because 来表示原因呢？难道不应该是这样吗？
B: Because she liked to do something difficult.

比如《2016年普通高等学校招生全国统一考试•课标乙卷》的第20题（听力题）：

再如《2016年普通高等学校招生全国统一考试•课标乙卷》的第25题（阅读理解B）：

以上两句的回答选项都没有用because。
▲当然用 because 来回答也完全可以。
