Just pretend like I don't have it.
为什么多加一个 like? pretend 可以是及物动词啊。
如果不加 like 句子也是对的吧，加 like 与不加 like 有何区别？like 在这里是介词吗？

1. 此句中的 like 是连词，意思与 as 或 as if 相同。例如：
Like (=As) I said , you’re always welcome to stay.(OALD)
She looked like (as if) she was enjoying the party.(MWALD)
一般认为，like作连词是非正式的（informal）用法,但却很常见，尤其在美语中。
2. pretend 既是及物动词也是不及物动词。你引用的句子中的pretend是不及物动词用法，就像I’m tired of having to pretend all the time（OALD）中的pretend一样。至于不及物动词pretend后面所接的like从句，应该称为（方式）状语从句。所以，从语言结构上讲，pretend后的that从句和like从句是有区别的。
3. 事实上，非正式语体的 pretend like 从句的使用频率很低，主要用于美语。但就表达的意思来讲，pretend like 和 pretend (that) 从句基本没有区别。下面两例均摘录于近年美国报刊：
So I turned off the ignition, opened the hood of the car and pretended like I was trying to fix something. (USATODAY,2015)
We pretended like we were searching for something else -- anything else -- and tried to adapt to carrying cell phones instead.(Iowa Review,2013)
如果将两句中的 like 换成 that (可以省略)，不会造成语意差别。
