where作疑问副词时可以做介词宾语吗

问题描述
—Where are you from？
—I am from China.
问句中 where 的句子成分是 from 的宾语。
主语：you
系动词：are
表语：from where
可是 where 是副词，介词的宾语不应该是名词或者单词吗？谢谢老师解答。

▲疑问副词where可以用作介词宾语的。又如：
Where are you going to? 你要到哪里去?
Where do you come from? = Where are you from? 你是哪里人?
Where does the ship hail from? 这条船是从哪里开出来的？
Where did you get that book from? 这本书你是从哪里弄来的？
It’s all very well to suggest doing that, but where’s the money coming from? 提议做那件事好倒是好，但是钱从哪儿来呢？
▲其他表示地点或位置的副词也可用作宾语。如：
It’s boiling in here. 里头热死了。
We have got to get a surgeon in here. 我们这里一定得有一个外科医生。
The atmosphere is very stuffy in here—can we open a window? 这里的空气很闷，我们打开一扇窗户吧。
There was a strange sound from downstairs.楼下传来一声奇怪的声响。
