1. I was going to leave yesterday.
2. I was leaving yesterday.
3. I would leave yesterday.
Yesterday, I would leave.
4. I was about/due to leave yesterday.
I'm going to do my homework now.
1. I was going to leave yesterday.
Yesterday, I just made a decision to leave. 这里yesterday 修饰made a decision。
2. I was leaving yesterday.
Iwas leaving yesterday, but something happened out of the blue.( I had to put it off to a later date.)
3. I would leave yesterday. Yesterday, I would leave.
I would leave yesterday, but I didn't. He thought that I would leave yesterday.
4. I was about/due to leave yesterday. I'm going to do my homework now.
答:be about to leave 和be due to leave,差别不太大。 The train is due to arrive in ten minutes.
关于“I'm going to do my homework now.”
now修饰do my homework。即使不用now,也不会很久,因为be going to 一般指较近的事。 I 'm planing to do my homework, but I have yet to decide when to start.
I was going to leave yesterday,
本句中的yesterday 是修饰was going to leave 而不是修饰 to leave。
1. I was going to leave yesterday.
I said that I was going to leave.
2. I was leaving yesterday.
I left yesterday
3. I would leave yesterday.
Yesterday, I would leave.
4. I was about/due to leave yesterday.
I'm going to do my homework now.
He was a student five years ago.
He planted an apple tree in 2014.
Tom joined the army in 2008.
I met Tom's mother in the street yesterday.
Mary visited his grandparents the day before yesterday.
A car accident happened here last night.
She said that she would pay a visit to Beijing.
She said that shewas going to visit Beijing
I didn’t know if he would come.
They never knew that population would become a big problem.
She didn’t tell me where she would go.
Betty said she would visit the Great Wall next Saturday.
A:“would+动词原形”。
He said he would come to see me.
He told me he would go to Beijing.
B:“was/ were+going to+动词原形”。
She said she was going to start off at once.
I was told that he was going to return home.
It seemed as if it was going to rain.
(3)come, go, leave, arrive, start
He said the train was leaving at six the next morning.
She told me she was coming to see me.
I didn’t know when she would come, but when she came I would let you know.
The teacher said that it would be very difficult to make progress if I didn’t work hard.
