到底叫疑问词还是叫连接代词或连接副词

对于 what, who, whom, whose, which, when, where, where 等词，如果它们是用于引出特殊疑问句，那自然就叫“疑问词”。如：
Who attended the meeting? 谁出席了会议？
Whose handwriting is this? 这是谁的笔迹？
What have we left behind? 我们走后留下什么了？
Which hotel would you suggest? 你看看住哪家旅馆？
When do you plan to take your holiday? 你打算什么时候休假？
Where is the best place to go surfing? 哪儿是冲浪的最好地方？
Why did you absent yourself from class yesterday? 你昨天为什么没来上课?
但如果不是引出特殊疑问句呢？它们叫还叫“疑问词”吗？比如：
I don’t know who attended the meeting.
Do you know whose handwriting this is.
It’s not known what we have left behind.
Please tell us which hotel you would suggest.
He wants to know when you plan to take your holiday.
Can you tell me where the best place to go surfing is.
He asked why you absented yourself from class yesterday.
我觉得这些句子中的 what, who, whom, whose, which, when, where, where 等应该叫连接代词或连接副词，不能再叫疑问词，因为它们并不是疑问句。

1. 构成疑问句的what, who, whom, whose, which等为“疑问代词”。当 what、which 和 whose 构成疑问句且作定语时，同样被称为“疑问代词”（但也有人将其称之为“疑问形容词”）。when, where, where, why 等为“疑问副词”。
2. 构成名词性从句的 what, whatever, who, whoever, whom, whose, which. whichever,whomever 等被称之为“连接代词”。when,where, how, why被称之为“连接副词”。
3. 构成名词性从句的 whether, if （有词义）和 that （无词义）在句中不担当成分，通常被称为“连词”或“从属连词”。
