介词短语有动词性吗

上句中 into 后的短语是定语还是状语，还是具有动词性？这个 into 介词短语是什么成分?

所谓某短语有什么词性，是指该短语能在句子中做什么成分。如动名词具有名词性，所以可以作主语、宾语、表语和同位语。介词短语从来都不能作谓语。当然没有动词性！！！
陈老师：
介词属于虚词，是不能单独在句中充当句子成分的。但是介词与其它实词构成了“介词短语”之后，就可以在句中充当成分。
介词短语具有“形容词”“副词”的语法功能，作表语，定语，状语成分
